1010 Waqf Inc., dba The Islamic Community Center of Gainesville is a non-profit tax-exempt organization (501(C) (3) application pending) with Tax-ID- 68-0501424 that has been formed exclusively for educational, religious, and social purposes.The Islamic Community Center of Gainesville is the oldest mosque in Gainesville. It is home to the local Muslim community, new immigrants, and hundreds of international Muslim students and their families coming to study at the UF. The center is a vital part of our community and provides a sanctuary for Muslims to pray, learn, and socialize. It also offers a variety of programs and services to the community, such as monthly halaqa, kids' Quran classes, adult education classes, and a dawah program.
